  • Detailed Daily Activities
    1. Rehearsal begins at 900 AM each day. Arrival at Hylton 15 minutes early is must! Use this time to hydrate, put on sun screen, set your instrument, equipment and warm up. The rehearsals each day will improve Marching Fundamentals and be used to set drill. (Eat a good breakfast each day - no dairy). Snacks will be provided to include fruit, and granola bars.
    2. Music and Guard Sectionals will begin at 100 PM, following the lunch break each day. You must have your music, a pencil and an operational instrument/equipment. It is highly recommended that you use the lunch hour to rest and re-hydrate following a busy morning on the driver’s ed lot. While pick up games of football can be fun, its recommended you stick to paper football instead, to conserve some of that energy.
    3. Following a dinner break from 4 PM - 6 PM, the final rehearsal of the day begins, promptly at 600 PM. Don’t be late! You are encouraged to go home, relax, cool off and eat a good dinner before heading back to Hylton for the final leg of band camp each day. Lack of transportation back to Hylton for the post dinner rehearsal? Reach out within your section - and ASK! You will always find a willing parent to drop off a marching bulldog in there neighborhood. The post dinner rehearsal will be combining drill, with music and routine so come prepared. Make sure you have your coordinate sheets, instrument/equipment and a bottle of water.
